The working group sees itself as a forum for the scientific exchange of actively researching social and political scientists as well as a place to promote political discourse. In the working group we critically examine the social development processes and deal with the political and cultural landscape in the Federal Republic in a differentiated and problem-conscious manner. Our other discussion topics also include social integration, participation and the right to have a say, the communication of interests and politics, as well as the acquisition of power and the legitimation of rule.
